Several teams of volunteers have travelled to the Arid Recovery Reserve to volunteer their time through this organisation.

Nature Foundation raise and distribute funds to protect the natural environment, support national parks and save native wildlife.

They have provided financial support for the reintroduction and monitoring of Stick-nest Rats in the Arid Recovery Reserve.

The Threatened Species Network (TSN) is a joint program of WWF Australia with the Australian Government’s Natural Heritage Trust.

TSN have provided funding for several Arid Recovery based conservation and research projects including Western Barred Bandicoot monitoring and a feasability study into the proposed Numbat reintroduction.

The Arid Areas Catchment Water Management Board (the Board) was established by the South Australian Government under section 53 of the Water Resources Act 1997, in May 2000. The primary role of the Board is to work collaboratively with the community and the government to manage water resources in the catchment in an integrated way to achieve agreed economic, environmental and social goals.

The Natural Heritage Trust (NHT) was set up by the Australian Government in 1997 to help restore and conserve Australia's environment and natural resources.

NHT has, through its funding programs (EnviroFund and NRM) so far invested almost $300,000 in Arid Recovery and have a demonstrated a strong commitment to ongoing support.
