Volunteer your time to assist us with our small vertebrate trapping. Each year we open our pitfall lines inside and outside the Arid Recovery fence line to assess the populations of small vertebrates including hopping mice, plains rats and loads of different reptiles. Art Exhibition Opening Night - Thursday March 23rd

Our art exhibition "Celebrating 20 years of Arid Recovery" will open on Thursday 23rd March in the Roxby Downs art gallery. The artwork suits the theme of conservation, wildlife and outbacks and will be exhibited until April 30th. To enter a piece please email Nicki Munro will be displaying her knitted shawl, created during her time as an Arid Recovery staff member. The shawl encompasses the theme, featuring iconic plant species including the Western Myall and Sturt's Desert Pea, as well as our furry friends, bettongs and hopping mice. 

Arid Recovery's 20th Birthday - Friday April 14th - Sunday 17th

Help us celebrate Arid Recovery's massive 20th year with a camp out at the Reserve across the Easter long weekend. Festivities will include presentations from researchers, an art gallery exhibition and celebrations on Saturday evening. To RSVP please email
