Donation Options

Make your donation count.

Thank you for considering a donation towards Arid Recovery. We rely heavily on donations from individuals, groups, businesses and corporations to continue our restoration of arid lands. Every donation counts – without this crucial extra source of income, the cost of maintaining the Reserve and day to day research would impact on so many other vital projects.

Choose from the following options.  An on-line payment form and more details on each are listed below:

* A once off donation
* Adopt a Little Ozzie Digger
* Support a special project
* Sponsor a Research Zone
* Sponsor a km of Exclusion Fence
* Sponsor an interpretive trail station
* Corporate Support – link to supporters page

Or you may choose to create your own fundraiser for Arid Recovery. Please Contact the Community Education Officer to discuss.

All donors and sponsors receive a certificate of appreciation and all donations contribute towards protecting threatened species and assist with the cost of maintaining our research and the Reserve and also for supporting special projects. Much of the work done at the Reserve is done by volunteers who actively assist our staff with a wide variety of tasks, but there are substantial costs involved with maintaining our expanding research area and projects.

To make your contribution more rewarding we have created interactive donor options that will keep you informed on what your donation is achieving. We now offer the following choices:

A once off donation

Contributing an amount of your choice will be gratefully received and will help support the vital day to day maintenance of the Reserve and on-going research projects and we welcome these donations.

Schools and other organizations are welcome to discuss their own special project or fundraising event.

Contact the Community Education Officer.

Exclusion FenceSponsor a kilometer of Exclusion Fence

(ideally suited to families, schools, clubs or small business) The uniquely designed exclusion fence protecting the animals and plants within the Reserve from feral invasion is expensive and high maintenance to ensure its integrity is preserved 24/7. Without this constant integrity, the work the AR team does towards restoration would be compromised and reintroduced species lost. There is around 67kms of perimeter fence-line and 27kms of internal fence-line separating the various research zones. $240 per kilometer of fence-line will contribute greatly towards its maintenance. In return we will keep you informed on work being done on the fence-line and your name will be placed on a plaque on the fence-line as eg: ‘This kilometer of exclusion fence is proudly sponsored by: ‘The Jones Family’

Sponsor an Interpretive Trail Station:

(ideally suited to schools, clubs or small business or professional groups) Arid Recovery is in the process of designing and installing a new highly interactive interpretive walk that includes interactive stations so visitors will enjoy learning more about the animals and plants of the arid zone. Each station will require regular maintenance to keep it in sound working order. For a donation of just $600 per annum you will help install, maintain and continuously improve our interpretive walk making our visitor experience more informative and exciting. In return we will keep you informed on work being done on the trail and your name will be placed on a plaque on your individual interpretive station as eg: ‘Proudly sponsored by: ‘Echo Valley Tiger’s Club’

Arid Recovery MapSponsor a Reserve Zone

(ideally suited to small business or professional groups) AR is offering the opportunity to sponsor one of the special zones within the Arid Recovery Reserve and for a contribution of $1200 per annum ($100 per month) you can choose to support special project areas such as the Dingo Enclosure, or vegetation monitoring exclosures, one-way gate zone, or simply choose from Red Lake, Northern Expansion, Main Expansion, First Expansion and Second Expansion. Your donation of will be used to support the maintenance of the zone and the day to day research within it.

You will receive quarterly updates of what is being done and achieved in your sponsored zone and your name will be placed on a plaque at the entry point to the selected zone eg: ‘The Red Lake research zone is proudly sponsored by: ‘Smith & Sons Legal Services’.

Corporate Sponsorships and Donations:

Arid Recovery is grateful for contibutions from Corporations wishing to support our vital environmental research and to share our achievements. We offer various options that offer significant benefits for sponsors.
