3on3 at the AR Reserve

Arid Recovery - Wednesday, October 31, 2012

It wasn't the warmest of days, but the children were excited to meet ABC3 star Kayne when he made the trek up to Roxby Downs. 3on3, a show that highlights three of the best things to do in each town around Australia, headed up to Roxby Downs in July to film.

Filming at the Arid Recovery Reserve.

Go karting was on the list as well as dropping in to the local radio station RoxFM and checking out how it runs. They also came out to the Reserve and helped out with some of our bettong trapping. Students from St. Barbara's Catholic School taught Kayne the ins and outs of how to trap bettongs, from bait making with peanut butter through to releasing them after processing.

Tell us what you think on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/aridrecovery Are they the top three things to do in Roxby Downs? What are the top three things to do in your local town?
